try doing consulate missions with a dunkor and kim, and two heroes of your choice, this way youll level them faster, but youll prolly die/get killed when you reach the ele boss. that couple with a few scrolls will make the grow fast

Just go outside from Gates of Desolation, get into a wurm and kill the enemies. Voila! A lot of XP

Just bring them along wherever you go. They get 5X the XP if they are lower level than you and also get quest/mission rewards. Whenever possible, swap in lower leveled heroes before accepting quest rewards. If you have Factions take them over there for the big quest rewards.
They level quick. |

make sure to equip heroes you want to level when accepting quest rewards.
doing some canthan quests pumps them up pretty fast. |

What the others have said...the Canthan quests are the quickest way to level your heroes.
Alternatively, you can take them over to Tyria and do Sorrow's Furnace or just explore Snake Dance. My mesmer did this a couple of times with Zhed, Dunkoro, and Olias in tow and got them most of the way to level 20. It's more time-consuming, but quite scenic. Tanith |

Riding wurms and equipping the low level heroes when accepting quest rewards.
If you have not reached the wurms yet, take one low level hero with you when questing, get bounties, and put the hero on Passive to prevent him/her dieing too often. |

Sigh, same questions all the time.
-Whenever you finish a quest, switch out heroes so that the lower level ones are in the party when you accept the reward -Fight, possibly using a scroll to increase XP gain -For the heroes that come later in the game, get into Junundu worms and slaughter mobs outside repeatedly -Go to Cantha, get the quest "Seek out brother Tosai" and do the 3000XP delivery quests in the Wajjun Bazaar while the Am Fah are friendly |

I usually go to witman's folly and do a grawl run (killing all grawl)... that way heroes gain apx 1 level per run.

My heroes are all level 20 way before getting to the worms so I don't see that really being an option. Maybe others play different though? I suppose if you ignored some heroes until that point then it could be used.
You get the low level ones in Istan and there are a lot of quests available plus the missions and Consulate Docks where they get the health boost which will help. Run CD more than once if desired. Bah, just play and use heroes that are not level 20 and they will all be there soon enough. |

I donot worry about leveling them at all.
I see all these people complaining about their heros. Just take them where ever you are going and they will level up. I was doing trade contracts quests yesterday and took souske with me. He was level 13 and before finishing the majority of the quests he was level 20. |

I put a lot of work into leveling Koss from 2 to 20 with characters brought over from the other chapters. But with the latest patch, the heroes start at level 15 when you bring over a Factions or Prophecies character.
If you're starting a new Nightfall chracter, the heroes tend to level up with your character. So all in all, especially with the latest patch, it's not a real big deal. |

As said before, dont worry about leveling your heroes.
here are tips: take heroes with lowest level with you, once they reach L 20 rotate them for another non-L20 character untill you run out of non L20 heroes. Khim, Paragon hench and one lowlevel hero monk can keep party alive just fine even if your heroes are low level, do not worry about them dying because heroes have 5x xp rate and thus loose death penalty really fast. If you cant stand them dying, every so often, make hero monk bonder and bond em or just load then with 2-3 defensive skills. If you do this, you should have all important heroes L20 by time you reach hader vabbi missions with no powerleveling or excesive quest hunting. Remeber, it is well worth it having a tiny bit harder time at begining then despairing once you get to stuff like attack on bazar and you have to suffer koss and meloni on their starting level. And it actually makes begining of Nf more challenging --- For example, If you get your L2 koss and do only primary quests, he will be nearly L15 by time you finish venta cementery mission, and possibly L20 once you finish Kodonur - none of those missions really need maxxed character. |

As you level up your heroes you will perhaps need to re-equip them with better weapons, staves, wands, offhands etc. I am a great lover of collector items for equipping heroes, as I am tight with my cash, so I combine levelling up with farming for the stuff the collectors need. My favourite areas are in the Crystal Desert where you can pick up most of the items to equip your 'basic' heroes (warrior, ranger, ele, monk, mes, necro) while also quickly levelling them up. Then farming in Kourna to get collector scythe for dervish.

Some tips
1. Whenever you've completed a quest and have to go back to town to collect the reward, unequip any high level heros and switch them for your low level ones before accepting the reward. 2. When ever you go Faction Farming ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dACKI...watch_response ) take your low level heros with you. Position them next to the Scoutmaster while you do the run, 2000exp for them every 4-5 mins. 3. Go farming in low level areas on the mainland against easy monsters such as insects and Kournans, just take heros with you, no hench. Use exp scrolls. Talk to all shrine priests. 4. Save all your Kournan pendants and trade them in for exp scrolls in the command post. i go for the 10 minute ones. The collector for them only appears later in the game, sort of as you leave vabbi i think. Ask on alliance for someone to get them for you if you don't have it unlocked. 5. If you've run out of easy areas to quest with low level heros, take your char to factions and do the quests in the low level areas there. Rewards from prophecy quests are too low to bother with but you will earn some skills while doing them. (This ones more for Elona born chars) |

Right outside Yohlon Haven in Arkjok Ward, there is an insect bounty and a bunch of insects right to the right and left. Low level heroes can level very quickly from these groups as most of them use frenzy. This is also a good place to quickly farm for enough sunspear points when trying to get done with A Hero Shall Lead Them, ~100 sunspear points per run at ~5 mins per run or less.

I think the elite cap bonus XP is just for you, otherwise you'd see your team mates getting the XP as well and that doesn't happen.
